In recent years, more and more experts and scholars have realized the significance of oxygen monitoring in clinical tissues, and have published expert consensus and guidelines in different fields: such as 2017 Chinese Anesthesiology Guidelines and Expert Consensus, Guidance on perioperative anesthesia management of elderly patients in China”,“Expert consensus on the construction of neonatal intensive care unit”,"VA-ECMO treatment specification for cardiogenic shock in Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University (v1.2019) ", etc. The concept of cerebral oxygen monitoring is widely used both at home and abroad. The field has been widely recognized.

Enginmed’s NIRS monitoring technology has also cooperated with 50 tertiary hospitals in Europe, the United States and China to carry out the SafeBooC-Ⅲ clinical international multi-center study of brain protection in ultra-premature infants. The study is an open, randomized, multinational, and operable phase III clinical trial initiated by the initiator of the trial, Professor Gorm Greisen. Using a dual parallel group design, 1600 premature babies will be recruited from 20 countries. It’s aim to evaluate the impact of clinical management and standard management of ultra-premature infants based on near-infrared spectroscopy monitoring on brain injury.

Enginmed hopes to use modern biomedical engineering expertise, inherit the spirit of craftsmanship, and continue to integrate humanistic medicine concepts with awe of life, to help more clinicians evaluate and judge the status of patients, so that patients can get better and more accurate treatment and rehabilitation.
